How to Become a High School Equivalency Testing Center

The ɬÀï·¬ State Board of Education (SBOE) has authorized ɬÀï·¬to contract with GED Testing Service to provide the GED test for individuals to earn the ɬÀï·¬ Certificate of High School Equivalency (TxCHSE). Tests may only be administered by TEA-authorized testing centers under ɬÀï·¬ Administrative Code Ìý Official Testing Centers.Ìý

NOTE:ÌýEducational Testing Service (ETS)Ìýnotified ɬÀï·¬and the SBOE that they would not administer the HiSET test in ɬÀï·¬ after 8/31/2021. The last day to take a HiSET test in ɬÀï·¬ was 8/31/2021.Ìý
