Year-Round Schools
The ɬÀï·¬ Education Agency (TEA) is required to publish a list of campuses operating on a year-round system under ɬÀï·¬ Education Code §25.084 (84th ɬÀï·¬ Legislature, General Appropriations Act (GAA), Article III, Rider 69, 85th ɬÀï·¬ Legislature, GAA, Article III, Rider 58, and 86th ɬÀï·¬ Legislature, GAA, Article III, Rider 59).Ìý

Additionally, Rider 69 (84th ɬÀï·¬ Legislature, GAA, Article III) required ɬÀï·¬to evaluate the performance of students attending schools that operate on a Year-Round education calendar in comparison to students attending schools that operate on a traditional school-year calendar.

ɬÀï·¬ Fitness Now
The ɬÀï·¬ Fitness Now (TFN) program provided grants to support in-school physical education and fitness programs for students in Grades 6, 7, and 8. The primary purpose of the grant was to help reduce childhood obesity and Type II diabetes.

Migrant Education Program
The Migrant Education Program (MEP) helps migrant students overcome the challenges of high levels of mobility, cultural and language barriers, social isolation, and other difficulties, to succeed in school and to successfully transition to postsecondary education or employment.
