Grade-Level Retention Data Search

The grade-level retention rate is the percentage of students who are retained in grade from one year to the next. These data sets includeÌýthe number and rate of retained students for all Grade K-12 students and various student groups. Currently, there are several ways in which to view grade-level retention data.Ìý

Grade-level retention data searches and downloads are available and presented by year.

Data searches allow the user to view or download a report for a single campus, district, education service center (ESC) region, or for the state. Data downloads are Excel (.xlsx) files that include grade-level retention data by race/ethnicity, gender, economic status, and other student groups (e.g., at-risk and emergent bilingual student/English learner (EB student/EL)) for all campuses, districts, or counties in the state.

Additionally, an interactive report ±è°ù´Ç±¹¾±»å±ð²õÌýstatewide grade-level retention data by race/ethnicity, gender, economic status, and other student groups (e.g., at-risk, EB student/EL, special education). Users can filter data by additional variables, including by specific grades.
